OUR VILLAGE
Vicinia draws its inspiration from the workers’ villages of Lisbon, Portugal, built mostly in the late 19th century, created as a response to the massive migration from rural areas into the expanding cities.
These villages often followed a U-shaped layout, embracing a shared courtyard — a place designed for daily encounters, work, support, and quiet community life. Every door opened onto a different family, with a different craft, and a different story.Vicinia reimagines this spirit for today. A small creative “village” where each door represents a discipline, a craft or a service — forming a neighborhood of ideas that coexist and complement each other.

Urban stands for the urbe: the city, the people who live in it, and the spaces that shape their days.
Architecture, planning, drawings, interior renovation, artistic painting — everything created at Vicinia Urban Creatives exists to serve the contemporary city and its needs.
But times change – and people are longing for the land again.
Today, many seek to reconnect with the countryside, to slow down, to breathe outside the stress of the urban everyday.
And that is where Vicinia Nature Creatives naturally emerges.
A return to the land, where olive trees, agroforestry and sustainable local products shape a new chapter of Vicinia – one that grows from the soil, from biodiversity, from the rhythms of nature.
The first result is our limited edition Oleum Olivarum, our hand-harvested extra virgin olive oil.
